International Women’s Day 2013
This coming Friday, March 8th is International Women’s Day, and there are some great events here in Portland to help you celebrate!
March 6th-8th – PNCA will be showing an homage to Julie Chicago’s “The Dinner Party” in the upstairs mezzanine (near room 204) of the PNCA Main Campus Building.
March 7th – History of Social Justice Organizing and The Center for Women, Politics, and Policy are hosting The Portland Women’s Movement Part 2, Building: from Activism to Institutions at 7:30 pm in the 2nd floor gallery of the Urban Affairs Building on the PSU campus.
March 8th - PSU CAPAS is hosting Amazing API Women with a showing of “Sewing Women” at 5:15 pm in Room 327 of the Smith Memorial Student Union on the PSU campus.
March 7th-10th – The Portland Oregon Women’s Film Festival will be taking place at the Hollywood Theatre.
